Chemical Peel – Skin Regeneration Treatment
The Chemical Peel treatment is a safe and non-invasive type of exfoliation used to improve the appearance of the skin by removing the top layer of dead skin. There are various types of chemical peels (e.g. Lactic, Glycolic etc) which are applied to the skin to stimulate the top layers. This allows new skin to regenerate and stimulate collagen production. The new skin appears smoother and younger looking.
The name of this treatment is not as intimidating as it may sound. Most chemical peels are derived from natural sources such as willow bark extract, milk, fruit, citrus and more.
Chemical Peels are used to treat a verity of different skin conditions and are used to treat wrinkles, pigmentation, breakouts, and scars.

What to Expect After a Chemical Peel Facial?
After the Chemical Peel treatment there can be slight to moderate down time. A Chemical Peel can be done at different depths—light, medium or deep—depending on your desired result. The deeper the peel strength the longer the downtime. The treated area may be rosy/pink, and can be potentially sensitive after the treatment due to stimulation of the skin.
With this exfoliating treatment, it is possible for the skin to be dry and possibly flaky for 1 to 5 days after your treatment. This is because the regeneration of the skin depends on the type of peel and intensity.
With every exfoliation treatment we recommend not to wash the skin or apply makeup for the rest of the day and to avoid direct sun exposure for a minimum of 1-2 weeks after your treatment. Also remember to be diligent about wearing SPF.
When Will I See Results?
Immediately after the treatment your skin will feel smooth and it will appear to glow. Results will be noticed up to 7-12 days after the treatment, depending on the type of peel and your particular skin regenerating-time.
To achieve desired results a series of further peels may need to be done.
How Long Does a Chemical Peel Facial Take?
This treatment takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
